Selecting Your New Pet: $20
We are available to consult on selection of a breed or breed mix that matches your lifestyle. This service also includes discussions of different breed behaviors, your goals and expectations, and products you might need to get you off to a good start when you bring your new friend home.
Puppy Kindergarten: $97 (5 sessions) Pending Availability
Puppy lessons are offered to owners and their puppies between 8-16 weeks of age at the start of the first session. Research shows that a puppy’s early experiences (positive and negative) largely determine the temperament and behavior they’ll have as adults. Puppies that have a lot of positive experiences with people, places, and other dogs before they are 16 weeks of age are more likely to develop into calm, well-adjusted adults. Puppy kindergarten incorporates socialization with the foundation of obedience work, while your puppy plays with his classmates.
Private Training: $45 per session or 4 for $170
To owners who prefer not to attend classes, or whose life routines cannot conform to class schedules, we offer private lessons. Great for the new puppy, untrained adult dog, or even as a refresher course for you and your companion. All training sessions will take place in your home. We will set up a training program to meet your goals. We will show you how to teach your dog a variety of obedience cues so that your dog will learn to look to you for guidance. This program is designed to help you teach your dog the basic behaviors needed for good manners including sit, down, stay, come, off, and walking nicely on leash. Once we've developed exercises for you and your dog in your home, we like to take it out on the road and practice what we've developed in the community. Creating a basic starting point and developing from there will help create a confident dog that does not have to guess how to behave in various situations.
